For the first time, a KFC member gives a talk at the IKV! In a short but thoroughly self-assured talk, Justin Silvestre of North - Metro Manila KFC talked about how people, even kids spend too much time on themselves.

Despite being sleepy, delegates listened eagerly to Justin, while adults present could not hide their awe at the 11-year old who talked like a grown-up person without a guide.

Justin asked the delegates if they`ve seen kids begging in the streets. Because of other people`s greed, they cannot live decently. He said that nowadays, "People are more focused on what money can buy." He said that even kids are not spared. "Bata man o matanda, di na talaga mababago ang nakagawian na (Young or old, it`s hard to change what we`ve grown used to)," Justin explained.

At times speaking in straight English, Justin said, "More and more, we spend our time watching tv, playing video games, opening our FB accounts, getting the latest gadgets instead of... having a good family bonding time or praying to God." When he mentioned Facebook, everyone in the crowd seemed to yell in agreement and embarrassment.

In ending, the first KFC speaker of in IKV history encouraged his fellow kids not to let the evil one win because we have already won in Jesus. He asked kids in the audience to commit to doing things that really please God. Tonight, Justin and Jesus showed that kids can!
