LINGAYEN, June 1, 2013 – Tonight’s LKV play showed how we sound like when we’re being disobedient. More often than we realize, it’s how we sound ourselves.

Liz, John and Mary’s adventures into the stories of the Bible helped them see that it can be a challenge to be obedient to God and to our parents.

What do we say when we are being disobedient?

Every kid (and often, even adults) say these lines:

  • Your work is always more important than me! You don’t love me!
  • You expect too much from me! And I’m sick and tired of it!
  • But I want one right now!

By seeing what happened to Noah, Moses and Abraham, the three kids (and the rest of the KFCs) saw that often obedience is for own good. Whether we like it or not, disobeying has consequences. When we obey, we should know that God loves us and wants what is best for us—just like our parents.
